Easton Area Corvette Club covers Lehigh Valley Corvette history and culture alongside practical guidance for owners, restorers, show participants and event planners. Our aim is to preserve useful local knowledge while helping readers make sound decisions about their cars, trips and projects.
Accuracy and useful coverage
Articles should answer a clear question and give readers useful information early. We verify details that could affect a decision, including historical dates, model years, event information, dimensions, materials, specifications and current policies. When an article includes a calculation, we state the assumptions and units behind it.
Event schedules, prices, product options and rules can change. Readers should confirm time-sensitive details with the relevant organizer, manufacturer or vendor before acting.
How we choose sources
The source should fit the claim. Vehicle specifications and official model information are drawn from Corvette or General Motors materials when available. Regional history relies on direct historical sources and archived club material where available. Maintenance and restoration coverage uses reputable specialist resources, while event details and reproduction projects rely on current organizer or vendor information.
Historical claims, dates, event details, model years and reproduction dimensions receive particular care. Archived material can preserve valuable memories, but recollections and undated items are not presented as settled fact without supporting evidence.
Evidence, illustration and opinion
We separate sourced facts from editorial judgment. Recommendations explain the practical reasons behind a choice, including relevant limitations and tradeoffs. A researched explanation is not presented as personal experience. Firsthand observations, measurements or tests are described that way only when documented for the specific article.
Hypothetical scenarios, estimates and generated illustrations are identified as examples rather than evidence. Opinion is framed as opinion, especially where reasonable Corvette owners may prefer different approaches based on generation, condition, budget or intended use.
Attribution and corrections
Sources are attributed where doing so helps readers understand or verify a claim. We do not copy another source’s reporting or conclusions without clear attribution.
Material errors should be corrected when identified. These include mistakes that could change a reader’s understanding of a historical record, vehicle specification, maintenance decision, event plan or purchasing choice. To report an error, email contact@eastonareacorvetteclub.com or use the contact page. Please include the page title, the disputed passage and any supporting source.
